Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup So Thai Sauce
  • 2 cups Chinese broccoli
  • 1 cup of fresh wide rice noodles
  • sliced flank steak (3/4 cup)
  • 1 tablespoon of garlic cloves, minced
  • salt and pepper to season
  • 1-2 tablespoons oil 
  • 1 egg

Directions

  1. Heat oil in a pan. Add  garlic and keep stirring so it doesn’t burn. 
  2. Add sliced steak, cook til medium.
  3. Add beaten eggs and scramble til cooked.
  4. Add rice noodles and Chinese broccoli.  Stir til mixed.
  5. Add sweet soy sauce, sugar, and vinegar.  Stir til mixed.
  6. Add So Thai Sauce. Stir to coat and mixed thoroughly.
  7. Plate.  Garnish with jalapeños and beansprout (optional).

Pad Kra Tiem (Garlic Stir Fry)

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup So Thai Sauce
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth (or water)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 chicken breast, sliced into thin bite-size pieces (3/4 cup)
  • 1/4 cup garlic cloves, minced
  • salt and pepper to season
  • 1-2 tablespoons oil 
  • 1 tsp corn starch
  • 2-3 tablespoons water
  • 1 teaspoon coriander leaves (for garnish)

Directions

  1. Boil water, add broccoli and blanch.  Drain and set aside.
  2. Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Heat oil in a pan. Add  garlic and keep stirring so it doesn’t burn.  Reserve half of fried garlic to top as garnish.
  4. Add chicken (or other meat of choice). Stir until cooked.
  5. Add So Thai Sauce then chicken broth.  Stir to coat.
  6. Combine corn starch and water in a cup.  Stir until dissolved.  Add to pan.  Stir until thickened.
  7. Plate blanched broccoli on plate.  Top with stir fried garlic chicken.
  8. Garnish and serve with rice.

  • 1-2 tablespoons oil
